About Us
East Pasco Quilters Guild, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, was started in 2008 by a group of Pasco County quilters who recognized their desire to share their appreciation for the art of quilt making.
Our mission is to educate and inspire quilters, and to give back to the community.
We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Genesis Community Center from 11 - 3 pm. Our approximate 20 member guild includes skill levels ranging from beginning quilters to advanced quilters, and garners quilters from Lakeland, Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Brooksville and Dade City.
We periodically offer classes to provide educational opportunities for our members.
A variety of local charities have benefited from our labors, including Meals on Wheels, CARES and Habitat for Humanity. Each year a different charity is chosen to receive monetary donations from an opportunity quilt fundraiser.
We facilitate the annual Kumquat Festival Quilt Challenge Show each January in Dade City and participate in the annual Pioneer Museum Quilt Show. Our Boutique and Trash to Treasure events are highly anticipated every year.
If you are interested in joining our group or you would like to attend a meeting to see what we’re all about, or just need more information, please contact us.
